After India's father dies, her Uncle Charlie, who she never knew existed, arrives at the family home to stay with her and her unstable mother. India comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives and she is increasingly infatuated with him. Advance word on Korean director Park Chan-Wook’s first foray in to American cinema is highly promising. The incredible audio-visual style he has honed over the years with films such as OLDBOY, LADY VENGEANCE and THIRST, elevates this new work to a higher plane. Prepare for flashes of excessive violence. Prepare to have the rug pulled out from under your feet. Prepare to be amazed.
